Portable Demands ₦10 Million to Appear on Carter Efe’s Livestream

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has stirred conversations online after revealing that he asked comedian and online streamer Oderhohwo Joseph Efe, widely known as Carter Efe, to pay ₦10 million for him to appear on a livestream.

Carter Efe, a popular skit maker and content creator, had publicly expressed interest in hosting Portable on his livestream, repeatedly appealing to the singer to join the session. However, according to Portable, the appearance would only happen if a hefty appearance fee was paid.

In a video making the rounds on social media, Portable stated that his time and presence come at a price, insisting that Carter Efe must pay ₦10 million before he would consider appearing on the livestream. The singer’s statement quickly drew attention, given Carter Efe’s visible efforts to persuade him.

Carter Efe, however, responded by pleading with the artist, explaining that he could not afford such an amount. His reaction, which appeared both humorous and genuine, further fueled online discussions, with many fans weighing in on whether livestream appearances should attract such high fees.
