FIFA Unveils “Goals” as Official 2026 World Cup Anthem Featuring Rema, LISA, and Anitta

The build-up to the FIFA World Cup 2026 has taken a major cultural turn with the release of the official anthem “Goals,” a global collaboration featuring Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema, South Korean pop sensation LISA, and Brazilian singer Anitta. The track, which was released on Thursday across major streaming platforms, is part of the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album and arrives with an accompanying music video that highlights its international theme.

Produced by Grammy-winning hitmaker Cirkut, “Goals” blends Afrobeats, K-pop, and Latin pop influences, reflecting the global nature of both the World Cup and the artists involved.

In a statement, FIFA described the project as more than just a soundtrack, calling it a cultural bridge that connects fans, communities, and musical styles from around the world through the shared passion of football. According to FIFA, the ongoing World Cup album series is designed to mirror the diversity and energy of the tournament itself, bringing together artists from different continents to represent the global spirit of the game.

Rema described the collaboration as a defining moment for international music, emphasizing how the record brings together three continents on a single track and showcases the power of cultural fusion.

LISA also expressed excitement about participating in the project, noting that music has always been a powerful force for uniting people across borders and cultures. She described working alongside Rema and Anitta as an honor.

For Anitta, the collaboration carries a personal connection to the World Cup, given her Brazilian heritage and lifelong association with the tournament’s global significance. She said contributing to the project alongside LISA and Rema was a special experience in her career.

The trio is scheduled to perform “Goals” live for the first time at the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony, which will take place at Los Angeles Stadium on June 12, just ahead of the tournament’s opening match.

“Goals” is the fifth release from the official World Cup album rollout, following earlier singles including “Lighter,” “Por Ella,” “Echo,” and “Illuminate.”

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will officially kick off on June 12, with matches hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, marking the first time the tournament will be jointly hosted by three nations.

As anticipation builds, the anthem is expected to play a central role in setting the tone for what is already shaping up to be one of the most globally celebrated editions of the tournament.
