Drake Bets $1 Million on Patriots to Win Super Bowl LX

Drake has stepped into the Super Bowl spotlight in dramatic fashion—this time not with music, but with a massive wager. The Grammy-winning rapper revealed that he has placed a $1 million bet on the New England Patriots to win Super Bowl LX, backing his confidence with serious cash as the team prepares to face the Seattle Seahawks.

The high-profile bet comes as excitement builds around one of the most intriguing Super Bowl matchups in recent years. Drake shared a screenshot of his wager on Instagram over the weekend, adding a bold message alongside it: “Bet against me if you dare.” With millions of fans already emotionally invested in the championship game, Drake’s move has added an extra layer of buzz ahead of kickoff.

The Patriots’ journey to Super Bowl LX has been nothing short of remarkable. After finishing the 2024 season with a disappointing 4–13 record, the franchise opted for a reset. New England appointed Mike Vrabel as head coach and committed to developing young quarterback Drake Maye. At the time, few expected the gamble to pay off so quickly.

Under Vrabel’s leadership, Maye flourished in his second season, showing maturity and composure well beyond his years. The Patriots surged to win the AFC East before carrying their momentum into the postseason. A decisive victory over the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game sealed their return to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2018.

Seattle, however, arrives as a formidable opponent. The Seahawks dominated the NFC during the regular season, earning the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye. They clinched their Super Bowl spot with a narrow 31–27 win over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game. Second-year head coach Mike Macdonald has been widely praised for his bold leadership, including last offseason’s decision to sign quarterback Sam Darnold to a three-year, $100.5 million deal.

Darnold delivered one of the best seasons of his career, throwing for 4,048 yards and 25 touchdowns, and now faces Maye in a quarterback duel that many analysts believe could shape the league’s future.

Interestingly, Patriots legend Tom Brady has stayed publicly neutral. Despite winning six Super Bowls with New England and sharing a close history with Vrabel, Brady—now a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders—has not declared support for the Patriots ahead of the game.

Super Bowl LX will be played on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET, with a global audience set to watch as the Patriots and Seahawks battle for the Vince Lombardi Trophy—and as Drake finds out whether his $1 million prediction pays off.
