Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has revealed an unexpected income stream off the pitch, disclosing that he earns money directly from Snapchat simply by posting content on his story. The Bayer Leverkusen forward shared the insight during a recent interaction with fans, offering a glimpse into how social media has become a reliable source of passive income for public figures.
According to Boniface, Snapchat rewards him with $100 for every day he posts, a system that has steadily added up over time. He said he currently has €6,000 sitting in his Snapchat wallet, accumulated purely from consistent activity on the platform.
The Nigerian international explained that the process requires little effort beyond regular posting, noting that Snapchat compensates creators and high-profile users based on engagement with their stories. For him, it has become an easy and dependable way to earn outside football.
“Snapchat pays me $100 every day I post. I even have €6,000 already in my Snapchat wallet. That’s why I will never stop posting on Snapchat,” Boniface said.
His revelation has sparked interest among fans and fellow creators, highlighting how social media platforms are increasingly monetizing everyday content. Beyond endorsements and sponsorship deals, athletes like Boniface are now tapping into direct platform payments as part of their personal brand strategy.
