Saudi Arabia Warns Trump Against Striking Iran, Says War Would Destabilize the Region

Saudi Arabia has delivered a strong warning to U.S. President Donald Trump, urging Washington not to launch military strikes against Iran and cautioning that a new conflict would trigger severe regional and global consequences.

According to reports, Saudi Arabia has assured Tehran that it will not allow American military aircraft to use its airspace for any operation targeting Iran. The message signals Riyadh’s determination to avoid being drawn into a war that could rapidly spiral beyond control.

The warning is not coming from Saudi Arabia alone. Oman and Qatar are also said to have privately cautioned U.S. officials that any attack on Iran would destabilize the Middle East and severely disrupt global oil markets. With the region accounting for a large share of the world’s energy supply, Gulf states fear that military escalation could send oil prices soaring and plunge fragile economies into uncertainty.

Officials familiar with the discussions say Gulf leaders are increasingly concerned that tensions between Washington and Tehran could ignite a broader conflict involving multiple regional actors. Such a scenario, they argue, would threaten shipping routes, energy infrastructure, and long-term stability across the Middle East.
