“I’m Not Going to Quit” – Ruben Amorim Speaks on Manchester United Role

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has made it clear that he has no intention of stepping down, insisting that he was appointed as the club’s manager and not merely a head coach.

Speaking candidly about his role and future at Old Trafford, Amorim said he fully understands the scrutiny that comes with the job, even though he does not carry the same name recognition as managers such as Antonio Conte, Thomas Tuchel, or José Mourinho. Despite that, he stressed that he is the manager of Manchester United and is committed to the responsibility that comes with the position.

Amorim explained that the current situation is one he is prepared to face for the duration of his contract, which he suggested could be up to 18 months, or until the club’s board decides otherwise. He firmly ruled out the idea of walking away from the role on his own terms.

According to the Portuguese coach, his focus remains on doing his job to the best of his ability and leading the team through the challenges ahead. He added that he will continue working until the club chooses to make a change and appoints a replacement.

Amorim’s comments underline his determination to stand his ground amid speculation and pressure, as he looks to establish himself and bring stability to Manchester United during a demanding period for the club.
