A Turkish military cargo plane has crashed near the Georgia–Azerbaijan border, killing all 20 personnel on board, according to a statement from Turkey’s Ministry of Defence.

The ill-fated C-130 transport aircraft, widely used by the Turkish Armed Forces for troop movement and logistical missions, had reportedly taken off from Azerbaijan and was en route back to Turkey when the tragedy occurred on Tuesday.
