The Sudanese Army has reportedly carried out a successful drone strike targeting a UAE arms resupply convoy allegedly destined for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. The convoy was said to have crossed from Libya into Sudan before being hit.
According to military sources, the drone strike completely destroyed the convoy, disrupting what officials described as a critical weapons supply line meant to reinforce RSF fighters. The Sudanese Army has intensified its efforts to cut off external support to the militia group amid the ongoing civil conflict.
The strike underscores growing tensions in the region, as Sudan continues to battle the RSF in a power struggle that has left thousands dead and displaced millions since fighting erupted in 2023.
