Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia has spoken out following growing online speculation surrounding his marriage and a recent social media post that sparked concern among fans. In a new clarification, the award-winning singer urged the public to stop amplifying false narratives that could put his wife, Natasha, at risk.
According to 2Baba, the alarming message shared on his Instagram page did not come from him. He explained that someone else had access to his account and uploaded the post without his consent. The singer emphasized that he is “perfectly okay” and not in any danger, contrary to the assumptions circulating online.
“This issue is getting out of hand, and you people are putting Natasha at risk. I’m perfectly okay. Someone else posted that on my IG; I’m not the one who posted it,” he said.
Addressing concerns about tension in his household, 2Baba acknowledged that families sometimes go through difficult moments but stressed that these challenges are not insurmountable. “Families do have issues, but we will definitely resolve everything,” he assured.
The singer’s statement comes after days of speculation and heightened conversations on social media regarding his relationship with Natasha and the authenticity of the troubling post. His clarification aims to calm the public while urging fans and blogs to act responsibly and avoid spreading misinformation.
