The U.S. Doesn’t Help Any Country, They Take Advantage — Gehgeh Warns Nigerians Amid Talk of Possible Invasion

Social commentator Gehgeh has issued a stern warning to Nigerians amid growing online discussions about the possibility of a U.S. military invasion following recent tensions between both nations.

In a viral post, Gehgeh criticized Nigerians who appear to be celebrating America’s threats of intervention, claiming that the United States never helps without pursuing its own interests.

“USA wants to invade Nigeria with tactics, and the average Nigerians are rejoicing. Anytime the U.S. wants to invade a country, they first cause division. The U.S. doesn’t help any country; they take advantage,” Gehgeh stated.

The remarks come amid heightened social media debate after U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly warned of possible military action if Nigeria fails to curb extremist violence against Christians. Gehgeh’s comments have since gone viral, sparking widespread conversations about foreign influence, national sovereignty, and political manipulation.

Many Nigerians have echoed his sentiment, arguing that foreign interventions often lead to deeper instability and economic exploitation. Others, however, believe that U.S. involvement could pressure the Nigerian government to take security issues more seriously.
