Popular Nigerian skit maker and live streamer Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, widely known as Shank Comics, was involved in a serious car accident on Saturday while streaming live.
The incident, which was captured in real-time during his livestream, occurred while Shank was behind the wheel of a Mercedes Benz AMG owned by fellow content creator and collaborator Habby Forex.
According to eyewitnesses and footage circulating online, the luxury car sustained extensive front-end damage, particularly on the right side, leaving it completely inoperable. The vehicle, reportedly valued at $100,000, is said to have been severely impacted by the collision.
Fans watching the stream were left in shock as the live broadcast captured the tense aftermath of the crash. Thankfully, Shank and other occupants reportedly escaped without serious injuries.
Following the incident, social media has been flooded with reactions, with many expressing relief that no lives were lost, while others criticized the recklessness of streaming while driving.
