Tragedy struck the city of Kharkiv after a Russian drone attack targeted a private kindergarten in the Kholodnohirskiy district, leaving several people dead and injured. The devastating incident was confirmed by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, which described the strike as a deliberate act of terror.

According to official reports, Russian forces launched three attack drones aimed at civilian infrastructure. One of the drones directly struck the kindergarten building, resulting in a powerful explosion that caused extensive damage. The attack occurred in the early hours of the day, sending shockwaves throughout the local community.

Footage circulating online shows the exact moment the drone hit the facility, followed by a massive blast. The video, verified by Ukrainian authorities, underscores the ongoing danger faced by civilians in the region amid relentless Russian assaults on non-military targets.

Emergency services were quickly deployed to the scene to extinguish the fire and rescue those trapped under the debris. Authorities have not yet released the exact number of casualties, but they confirmed that there are both fatalities and injuries among the victims.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into the attack, labeling it a Russian terrorist strike against civilian infrastructure. Ukrainian officials have once again condemned the repeated targeting of residential and educational facilities, calling for stronger international action against such violations of humanitarian law.
