After more than two months in captivity, Mr. Tunji Olaoye, a well-known and respected resident of Oro-Ago community in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, has finally regained his freedom from the hands of suspected Fulani bandits.

According to local reports, Mr. Olaoye was abducted by armed men over two months ago, leading to intense fear and concern among community members. His safe return was celebrated with joyful scenes, as residents gathered to welcome him home, expressing gratitude for his survival and resilience.

Sources within the community revealed that a ransom was reportedly paid before his release, though the exact amount remains undisclosed. The emotional homecoming highlighted how deeply loved and respected Mr. Olaoye is within the Oro-Ago community, as seen in viral videos showing residents cheering and embracing him upon his return.

Authorities are said to be continuing investigations into the abduction, as kidnappings for ransom have become a growing concern across parts of Kwara State and other regions in Nigeria.

Mr. Olaoye’s rescue marks a significant relief for his family and the entire Oro-Ago community, who had been praying fervently for his safe return since the day he was taken.
