U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff confirmed on Tuesday that President Donald Trump will chair a high-level meeting on Gaza at the White House on Wednesday. The discussions are expected to focus on a comprehensive framework for the war-torn territory and potential strategies for long-term stability.

“Yes, we’ve got a large meeting in the White House tomorrow, chaired by the president, and it’s a very comprehensive plan we’re putting together on the next day,” Witkoff said while speaking on the administration’s efforts to address the crisis.

When asked if there is a “day-after plan” for Gaza, Witkoff stressed that the Trump administration is working toward a detailed post-conflict roadmap and projected that the ongoing war could come to an end by 2026.

The White House meeting signals Washington’s continued involvement in seeking an end to the conflict and shaping the future governance and reconstruction of Gaza once hostilities subside.
