A security guard at Warsaw’s central railway station has come under fire online after footage surfaced of him forcing a drunk man, who was speaking in Russian, to leave the premises.
The incident, which quickly spread on social media, has sparked accusations of racism and discrimination. Eyewitnesses claim the man appeared intoxicated but was not violent, raising questions about whether the guard’s actions were motivated by the language he spoke rather than his behavior.
Critics argue that the ejection highlights broader tensions in Poland, where the ongoing war in Ukraine and regional geopolitics have heightened sensitivities toward Russian speakers. Supporters of the guard, however, insist he was simply doing his job by maintaining order inside the busy station.
