A wave of violent weather has plunged Russia’s Krasnodar Krai into chaos, as tornadoes, flash floods, and relentless rain battered the southern region from the early hours of the morning.
The coastal village of Aghoy witnessed one of the most dramatic scenes, where a powerful tornado struck the beach, sending terrified vacationers scrambling for safety.
Families with young children were seen fleeing as trees were ripped from the ground and walls of sand surged across the shoreline within minutes.

The broader Krasnodar region has also been hit by widespread flooding, with streets turning into rivers and emergency crews stretched thin as they respond to dozens of distress calls. Authorities are urging residents and tourists to stay indoors and avoid coastal and low-lying areas as weather warnings remain in effect.
Meteorologists have described the weather system as unusually intense for the region, warning that further instability could continue in the coming hours. While there are no confirmed casualties at this time, local officials have reported property damage, power outages, and transport disruptions across multiple districts.
