Reports are emerging from Gaza that an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) airstrike has targeted a facility belonging to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in western Khan Younis, located in the southern part of the besieged enclave. The Palestinian Red Crescent, which serves as the equivalent of the Red Cross in the region, plays a critical humanitarian role by providing emergency medical services, ambulance support, and civilian aid in conflict zones. The facility in Khan Younis is said to have been actively supporting medical teams and treating casualties when the strike occurred.
