Prince Al-Waleed bin Khalid Al-Saud, often referred to as Saudi Arabia’s “Sleeping Prince,” has passed away at the age of 36, nearly two decades after a tragic car accident left him in a coma.
The young royal, who was just 15 years old when the devastating crash occurred in London in 2005, sustained severe injuries, including a brain hemorrhage and internal bleeding. Since that day, Prince Al-Waleed had remained in a comatose state, relying on a ventilator and round-the-clock medical care. His condition became a symbol of perseverance, hope, and the unwavering love of family over the years.

His father, Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, confirmed the heartbreaking news on Saturday through a post on the social media platform X.
