Reports circulating online say the cancellation was linked to the unavailability of members of Asake’s live music team, including his composers. The reports also claim that about 90% of the tickets had already been sold, although those figures have not been independently confirmed by the available official sources.
Fans who purchased tickets through Eventim have been informed that refunds will be returned to the original payment method, with the platform advising customers to allow several business days for the process.
The Los Angeles concert was part of Asake’s “In God We Trust” World Tour, which has been taking the Nigerian singer across North America. The cancellation is expected to disappoint fans, particularly those who had already made plans to attend the highly anticipated Los Angeles performance.
