Strive has added another 1,800 Bitcoin to its corporate treasury in a purchase worth approximately $143 million, pushing its total Bitcoin holdings to 23,156 BTC.
The latest purchase was made between August 24 and August 28, with Strive paying an average of approximately $79,431 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses.
The latest acquisition is part of Strive’s aggressive Bitcoin accumulation strategy. Just a week earlier, the company purchased another 1,110 BTC for roughly $81.5 million. Combined, the two purchases have added 2,910 BTC to Strive’s treasury in about two weeks.
With 23,156 BTC now on its balance sheet, Strive’s Bitcoin stash was valued at roughly $1.76 billion at the reference price cited in the company’s disclosure.
The latest purchase has also pushed Strive further up the rankings of publicly traded companies holding Bitcoin. The company has reportedly moved ahead of crypto exchange Bullish, making Strive the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder.
The growing Bitcoin treasury means Strive is becoming increasingly exposed to the cryptocurrency’s price movements. If Bitcoin rises, the value of its holdings could increase significantly—but a major decline in Bitcoin’s price would also affect the value of the company’s treasury.
Strive’s latest purchase comes as several major companies are once again increasing their cryptocurrency holdings. The renewed buying highlights how publicly traded companies continue to use Bitcoin as a treasury asset, despite the market’s volatility.
For Strive, the strategy is clear: keep accumulating Bitcoin. With more than 23,000 BTC now in its treasury, the company is positioning itself as one of the largest corporate holders of the world’s biggest cryptocurrency.
