Popular Nigerian forex trader Jeffrey Benson has been involved in a crash with his newly acquired Ferrari SF-90 Stradale, barely weeks after taking delivery of the luxury supercar. The vehicle, reportedly valued at around ₦1.5 billion, is one of the most expensive and rare Ferraris currently in Nigeria.
The incident, which occurred in Lagos, quickly drew attention after videos and photos began circulating on social media. The clips show the high-performance Ferrari visibly damaged after reportedly hitting a culvert.
According to online reports, Benson allegedly lost control of the car, leading to the crash. While the full circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear, there have been no confirmed reports of serious injuries.

The Ferrari SF-90 Stradale is a hybrid hypercar known for its extreme speed and advanced engineering, making it both a status symbol and a demanding machine to handle. Benson’s acquisition of the car had recently made headlines, with many celebrating his success in the forex trading space and his growing reputation as one of Nigeria’s most prominent traders.
Reactions online have been mixed. Some fans expressed shock at the development, given how recently the car was purchased, while others responded with humor, joking about insurance coverage or Benson simply replacing the vehicle. Many, however, took a more sympathetic tone, wishing him well and hoping the damage was not beyond repair.
Jeffrey Benson has yet to release an official statement addressing the crash, but the incident has reignited conversations around luxury cars, road safety, and the challenges of handling high-powered vehicles on Nigerian roads.
