A Fulani man has spoken out about the deep-rooted challenges faced by many members of his community, especially those living in remote settlements with little to no access to education. In a candid statement, he emphasized that people often misunderstand Fulani herders because they have no idea what their daily lives truly look like.

According to him, a Fulani man living in the bush without formal schooling should not be judged based on assumptions or stereotypes. He explained that without access to basic education, it becomes difficult for many to explore alternative occupations or fully integrate into modern society.

“What do you expect a Fulani man with zero education to become?” he asked, highlighting how lack of schooling limits their opportunities. He stressed that education is essential for progress, empowerment, and peaceful coexistence.

The speaker called on government and stakeholders to invest more in educational initiatives for pastoral communities, noting that proper schooling would reduce societal misconceptions and help bridge the gap between nomadic families and urban populations.

His message underscores a growing demand within rural Fulani communities: access to education, opportunities, and a fair chance to participate in the nation’s development.
