Terror struck Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State today as heavily armed attackers invaded a quarry site and abducted two Chinese nationals. Local sources reported that the assailants, suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, stormed the facility in large numbers and carried out the operation with military-style precision.
Eyewitnesses said some members of the group were dressed in military uniforms and were armed with sophisticated weapons, including AK-47 rifles. The sudden raid left workers and residents in panic as the gunmen overpowered security personnel and forced their victims into the forest.
The incident has sparked heightened tension in the area, as community members call for urgent government intervention and a swift rescue operation. Security agencies are reportedly mobilizing to track down the kidnappers and secure the release of the abducted workers.
