Tension is rising in Warri as some residents have issued threats against popular social media personality VeryDarkMan (VDM) following his recent physical altercation with comedian Mr Jollof on a United Nigeria Airlines flight.
In messages circulating online, angry Warri natives warned VDM to stay away from the city, claiming he would be publicly humiliated if he attempted to visit. One of the viral threats stated, “If we see you in Warri, we will strip you naked.”
The threats surfaced shortly after a video emerged showing VDM and Mr Jollof engaged in a mid-flight scuffle, an incident that has sparked widespread reactions across social media. VDM later claimed he overpowered the comedian during the confrontation, further fueling the controversy.
