Nigerian entertainer and nightlife personality Yhemolee has shocked fans with his recent revelation about his past involvement in cryptocurrency. He disclosed that between 2016 and 2017, he owned over 39 to 40 Bitcoins but decided to sell them all that same year.
In his words, “At some point in 2016 or 2017, I had over 39 to 40 BTC, so I sold it all in 2017.”
Yhemolee’s revelation has since sparked massive reactions online, with many fans calculating how much the coins would be worth at today’s value. Bitcoin, which traded for less than $1,000 in early 2017, has since skyrocketed to tens of thousands of dollars per coin — meaning Yhemolee could have been sitting on a fortune if he had held onto them.
