Super Falcons star Rasheedat Busayo Ajibade has completed a high-profile move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain Féminines, signing a contract that will keep her at the club until June 30, 2027.

PSG confirmed the transfer in an official statement on Tuesday, welcoming the Nigerian forward from Atlético Madrid Femenino, where she spent four and a half seasons. The move also sees Ajibade link up with her national teammate, Jennifer Echegini, in Paris.

Fondly nicknamed “Mummy G.O.” by fans, the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) champion expressed her excitement at the new chapter in her career.

“I’m deeply honoured to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, a top-drawer club in Europe,” Ajibade told PSG’s official website. “This is a major step for me, and I’m committed to giving my all to help PSG win titles and to inspire young footballers, be they in Nigeria or elsewhere.”

Ajibade’s move to France comes just weeks after playing a pivotal role in Nigeria’s record-extending 10th WAFCON title triumph with the Super Falcons.

The former FC Robo Queens forward has built a strong reputation for her pace, versatility, and attacking threat. Her arrival is expected to boost PSG Féminines’ bid for domestic dominance in the French Première Ligue as well as their push for European glory in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

With Ajibade and Echegini now both at PSG, Nigerian football fans will be closely following the Parisian club as the two Super Falcons stars take their talents to one of Europe’s most competitive stages.
