U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed that the next phase in efforts to resolve the ongoing war in Ukraine will involve direct talks between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, with himself at the table.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Fox News shortly after his meeting with Putin in Alaska, Trump emphasized that responsibility for moving peace efforts forward now rests largely with Ukraine’s leadership. “Now it is really up to Zelensky to get it done. They are going to set up a meeting now between Zelensky, Putin and myself,” Trump said.
