Macau, China, is reeling from heavy flooding after extreme rainfall pounded the city, leaving streets submerged and disrupting daily life. The relentless downpour overwhelmed drainage systems, forcing residents and businesses to contend with rising waters and hazardous conditions.
In several districts, roads were completely impassable as vehicles became stranded and shopfronts were inundated. Emergency crews were deployed to assist those trapped by the floodwaters, while local authorities issued warnings urging people to stay indoors and avoid non-essential travel.
