Two Russian social media influencers are under police investigation after filming a TikTok video in front of a burning oil depot in Sochi, shortly after it was struck by a Ukrainian drone. The video, which quickly circulated online, has sparked outrage and drawn the attention of Russian authorities.

The influencers, identified as 21-year-old Dasha Vladimirovna and 19-year-old Karina Evgenyevna, were seen rapping in front of the blaze while the oil facility burned behind them.

The backdrop was the aftermath of a reported Ukrainian drone strike, one that had successfully evaded Russian air defenses—a development that has fueled both public embarrassment and political tension.

The video was set to the track Crimson Dawn by Russian rapper Endshpil and appeared to celebrate the strike, capturing the two women smiling and performing as smoke billowed from the depot. A man is also seen in the footage with them, though it remains unclear whether he is facing similar legal scrutiny.

Russian authorities acted swiftly. The women have been detained, and a police investigation is now underway. According to local reports, the content of the video is being reviewed for possible violations, including charges related to inciting hostility or glorifying acts considered to undermine national security.
