As clashes intensify along the Cambodia–Thailand border, the Chinese Foreign Ministry has expressed “deep concern” over the escalating situation, calling for restraint and peaceful resolution. In an official statement, Beijing emphasized its hope that both nations will resolve their differences through “dialogue and consultations.”

The remarks come as the border conflict shows signs of widening, with both countries deploying heavy weaponry, including rocket artillery, across multiple flashpoints. The growing violence has raised alarm throughout the region, prompting calls from international actors to prevent further destabilization.
