Dozens of demonstrators rallied in front of the Egyptian Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, calling for the urgent reopening of the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. The protest reflects growing regional pressure on Cairo to ease restrictions and allow humanitarian aid and medical evacuations into the besieged Palestinian enclave.
Protesters waved Palestinian flags and held signs demanding Egypt take swift action to facilitate the movement of people and aid through the critical border point. Many expressed frustration over the continued closure of Rafah, which they say is worsening the humanitarian crisis in Gaza amid ongoing violence and shortages of essential supplies.

Its closure has sparked widespread concern from humanitarian organizations and regional observers, who warn that delays in reopening the route could have catastrophic consequences for those trapped inside the strip.
