A devastating airstrike has claimed the lives of at least 14 people and left several others injured after tents sheltering displaced civilians were bombed near the military court area north of Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.
The attack, reportedly carried out by Israeli forces, targeted a makeshift area where families seeking safety had taken refuge amidst the ongoing conflict. Eyewitnesses described a horrifying scene of destruction, with bodies pulled from the debris and rescue workers scrambling to assist the wounded.

This latest strike has once again spotlighted the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where thousands of displaced families live in overcrowded, fragile shelters with little access to essential resources.

The targeting of an area known to host displaced civilians has triggered renewed outrage and calls from international observers for immediate efforts to protect non-combatants in conflict zones.
The Al-Shati camp, one of the most densely populated areas in Gaza, has seen repeated waves of displacement as violence escalates. With infrastructure already strained and aid routes severely restricted, the consequences of such attacks continue to push the region further into catastrophe.
