President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed strong outrage over the recent killings in Benue State, calling for the immediate arrest of those responsible. Reacting to the brutal attack that left dozens dead in the Yelwata community, Tinubu questioned the delay in action by security agencies.

“How come no arrests have been made? I expect there should be arrests of those criminals. Let’s get those criminals, let’s get them out,” the president stated firmly.

His remarks come amid growing national and international concern over recurring violence in parts of the Middle Belt, often attributed to attacks by armed herdsmen and bandits. The president’s comments underscore mounting pressure on law enforcement and intelligence agencies to deliver justice and restore peace to affected communities.
