A large-scale fire has broken out at Iran’s Shahid Rajaee Port in Bushehr, prompting a swift emergency response from local authorities. The port, a key hub for Iran’s maritime trade along the Persian Gulf, was engulfed in thick smoke and intense flames as firefighting units rushed to contain the blaze.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the fire spread rapidly across multiple sections of the port, raising concerns about potential damage to cargo and infrastructure. As of now, there have been no confirmed reports of casualties, but officials have not ruled out the possibility as assessments continue.
Shahid Rajaee Port plays a critical role in Iran’s economy, handling a significant portion of its imports and exports. Any prolonged disruption could impact shipping routes and supply chains in the region.

Rescue teams are on-site, and fire suppression efforts are ongoing as officials work to prevent the flames from spreading further into adjacent storage areas and vessels docked at the port. Residents in the vicinity have been advised to remain indoors and avoid the area due to air quality concerns.
