Northern Gaza is once again witnessing a mass exodus of civilians following a series of intense airstrikes by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The renewed offensive, described by locals as one of the heaviest in recent weeks, has prompted thousands of Gazans to flee their homes in search of safety.

Residents reported loud explosions throughout the night, with plumes of smoke rising from multiple neighborhoods. The IDF has not officially detailed the scope of the operation but has previously stated its intent to target what it describes as “terror infrastructure” linked to Hamas.

The strikes come amid growing international concern over the humanitarian toll of the ongoing conflict. Northern Gaza, already heavily impacted by previous operations, now faces further displacement, compounding the crisis for civilians who have endured months of war, food shortages, and limited access to medical care.

Aid groups are urging for immediate ceasefires and safe corridors to allow civilians to evacuate and receive assistance. As the violence escalates, the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate, leaving residents of Gaza caught in a relentless cycle of conflict and survival.
