Popular TikTok influencer and livestreamer Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has been hospitalised after crashing his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz during a highly emotional livestream on Sunday. The incident occurred along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos and has since sparked widespread concern across social media.

At the time of the crash, Peller was broadcasting live on Instagram in a session titled “RIP Peller.” In the now-viral footage, the content creator appeared visibly distressed while driving alone, emotionally overwhelmed and engaged in what viewers believed to be a heated phone conversation.

Reports circulating online suggest the call was with his girlfriend and fellow content creator, Jarvis, amid speculation about a possible breakup.

Throughout the livestream, Peller was seen crying and displaying signs of agitation. He made several alarming remarks that suggested deep emotional distress, including statements expressing fear, anxiety over public ridicule, and concerns about being mocked online if the relationship ended. At different moments, he hinted at causing an accident and voiced intense emotional pain, repeatedly saying he was scared and overwhelmed.

Shortly after these remarks, the livestream captured the moment his vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a barrier, leaving the luxury car badly damaged. Passersby quickly intervened at the scene, offering assistance before Peller was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

While it has been confirmed that he survived the crash and is receiving treatment, details regarding the extent of his injuries have not yet been officially disclosed. Fans, colleagues, and fellow influencers have since flooded social media with messages of concern, prayers, and calls for emotional support.

The incident has reignited conversations around mental health, online pressure, and the emotional toll of public scrutiny on content creators. As updates are awaited on Peller’s condition, many have urged compassion, privacy, and increased awareness around mental and emotional well-being in the digital age.
