Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Khawaja Asif, has vowed a firm response following a deadly terrorist attack reportedly carried out by the Afghan Taliban. Speaking to local media, Asif condemned the assault and made it clear that Pakistan would not stand idle in the face of such aggression.
“Pakistan will definitely respond to this terrorist attack carried out by the Afghan Taliban. We will not tolerate this,” the Defense Minister declared, signaling a potential escalation in tensions between the two neighboring countries.
The attack, which targeted Pakistani security forces near the Afghan border, has reignited concerns over cross-border militancy and the Taliban’s growing influence in the region. Pakistan has long accused the Afghan Taliban of providing safe havens to militants who launch assaults on its territory—a claim the Taliban leadership has repeatedly denied.
