A video circulating widely on social media shows Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in tactical gear chasing a man through downtown Chicago, sparking debate online.
The footage, first shared as an exclusive by GrayStak Media co-founder and CEO Christopher Sweat, captures roughly ten ICE agents pursuing the man, who is alleged to be a food delivery worker. Despite the aggressive chase, the man appeared to successfully evade capture, weaving through the streets as bystanders looked on.
According to Sweat’s account, the incident unfolded after the individual allegedly made some “verbal comments” toward the agents. He clarified that there was no physical or threatening contact, though the situation quickly escalated into the dramatic pursuit now going viral on X (formerly Twitter).
The video has triggered intense discussions about ICE’s tactics and the broader issue of immigration enforcement in the United States. While the agency has not released an official statement, the incident adds fuel to the ongoing debate over how federal officers engage with immigrants and workers in public spaces.
