Pupils of Mubi 2 Primary School in Mubi South Local Government Area, Adamawa State, have raised an emotional appeal to the state government, lamenting that they have been forced to learn while sitting on the floor for years.
The children, in their plea, expressed frustration over the lack of basic classroom furniture, noting that the situation has made learning extremely difficult. They called on the government and well-meaning individuals to urgently intervene by providing desks, chairs, and improved learning facilities.
Parents and teachers in the community have also echoed the children’s cry, stressing that the absence of proper infrastructure affects not only the pupils’ comfort but also their ability to concentrate and learn effectively.
Education stakeholders in Adamawa have repeatedly highlighted the need for greater investment in rural schools, warning that neglecting basic learning tools will continue to undermine the quality of education in the state.
