Violence erupted in central London after a knife fight broke out outside the Regent’s Park Mosque, culminating in a car ploughing into a group of men during the broad daylight brawl.
Eyewitness footage shows two hooded men brandishing knives and clashing with rivals in the middle of the road near London Central Mosque, forcing traffic, including National Express coaches and London buses, to a standstill. Alarmed motorists honked their horns while pedestrians shouted for the men to stop as the fight unfolded.
The confrontation escalated dramatically when a car suddenly veered across the road, striking two of the knife-wielding men and sending them into the air. Despite the impact, the violence continued as the fight spilled onto the pavement. One man was knocked to the ground but was attacked further with a knife and kicked by another assailant as he attempted to get away.
Police confirmed that one man was found with stab injuries, though they are not believed to be life-threatening. A 30-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of affray and remains in custody as investigations continue.
The shocking incident adds to growing concerns over violent crime in the capital, with many residents referring to the city’s worsening security situation as “Lawless London.”
