A viral video circulating on social media has captured a tense moment involving Nigerian businessman and real estate mogul, Abu Abel, at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta.
In the footage, Abu Abel, dressed in a white kaftan, is seen walking through the stadium with several men believed to be part of his security team. The situation suddenly escalated when a group of visibly agitated youths advanced toward him, shouting aggressively.
The confrontation created a scene of tension, with the crowd appearing to attempt to confront or chase Abel out of the venue. However, his security personnel quickly intervened, surrounding him and ensuring his safe exit from the stadium.
Although the viral clip has fueled speculation that the group may have been rival cultists, no official confirmation has been made regarding the identities of those involved or the motive behind the attempted confrontation.
As of now, Abu Abel has not released a statement about the incident, and security authorities have yet to comment.
