Finnish President Alexander Stubb has voiced optimism about ongoing negotiations aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, highlighting recent progress made over the past two weeks.
Speaking on Finland’s unique perspective, Stubb pointed to his country’s long border with Russia and its historical experience in navigating complex relations with Moscow as a source of confidence in moving toward a solution.

He emphasized that the progress achieved in recent discussions offers hope for a breakthrough, expressing his belief that 2025 could bring a viable resolution to the conflict.
