Ukrainian forces have struck a defense facility in Russia’s Moscow region believed to be involved in producing warheads for Shahed drones, according to verified reports.
The targeted site, located near the Russian capital, plays a key role in assembling components for the Iranian-designed Shahed drones, which have been widely used by Russian forces in their ongoing assault on Ukraine.

The strike marks one of the closest attacks to Moscow in recent months, highlighting Ukraine’s expanding reach and growing drone warfare capabilities.

While Russian officials have yet to release detailed statements about the extent of the damage, sources indicate that the facility sustained direct hits. The attack is likely to deal a blow to Russia’s drone supply chain, especially given the increasing reliance on Shahed drones in battlefield operations.
