Ali Shamkhani, a senior advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued a bold and defiant statement following what he implied was a targeted operation by Israeli forces.
Speaking to Iranian media, Shamkhani acknowledged that he had been the focus of an apparent Israeli strike, though he declined to reveal the exact reason behind the attack. “I know why the Zionists targeted me, but I can’t say,” Shamkhani stated. “However, I gave them hell.”

The remarks come amid heightened tensions between Iran and Israel, following a deadly 12-day bombing campaign launched by Israel earlier this month that resulted in the deaths of dozens of senior Iranian military officials and nuclear scientists.
