Brigadier General A., Commander of the Israeli Air Force’s Hatzerim Base, has confirmed that Israel’s ongoing military operations are effectively targeting enemy missile capabilities, helping reduce the number of projectiles launched toward the country.

In a statement issued amid the continued escalation between Israel and Iran, Brigadier General A. highlighted the success of the Israeli Air Force in neutralizing key missile sites and launch platforms.

“We are hitting the enemy’s missiles, thereby reducing the scope of launches towards the State of Israel,” he said, emphasizing the critical role of precision airstrikes in defending Israeli territory.

The Hatzerim Air Base, one of the IAF’s primary operational hubs, has been central to Israel’s aerial strategy, especially in missions targeting strategic infrastructure deep within enemy territory. The commander noted that recent missions had significantly disrupted Iran’s ability to sustain long-range attacks.

This development comes as Israel intensifies its aerial campaign following waves of missile and drone attacks from Iranian forces and their regional proxies. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have framed their operations as defensive, aimed at preempting further strikes and dismantling the logistical networks enabling Iran’s offensive operations.
