Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has affirmed that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are fully prepared for a sustained military campaign, stressing that confronting a threat of this magnitude requires enduring readiness and strategic persistence.
“In order to remove a threat of this magnitude, against such an enemy, readiness for a sustained campaign is required,” Zamir said in a recent statement. “The IDF is prepared for this. Day by day, our freedom of action is expanding, and the enemy’s freedom of action is decreasing.”

His remarks come amid heightened military operations in the region and reflect Israel’s broader strategic posture in the face of intensifying threats. Zamir emphasized that the IDF’s operational effectiveness continues to grow as Israeli forces neutralize critical enemy infrastructure, limiting their ability to strike or maneuver freely.
