Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed the first-ever operational use of its Fattah-1 hypersonic missile during a strike on Tel Aviv.

According to a statement released by the IRGC, the advanced missile system—unveiled in 2023—was used in response to what Tehran describes as “continued Israeli aggression.” This marks the first time the Fattah-1 has been deployed in live combat, signaling a shift in Iran’s strategic capabilities and a warning to its adversaries.

The Fattah-1 is designed to evade modern air defense systems due to its high speed and maneuverability, making it a potent addition to Iran’s growing missile arsenal.

While Israeli authorities have not confirmed the extent of the damage caused by the strike, local reports suggest that air raid sirens and explosions were heard across Tel Aviv, with emergency services responding to multiple impact zones.

Military analysts view this as a turning point in the ongoing confrontation between Iran and Israel, raising serious concerns about the broader implications for regional stability and global security.
