Israel’s Health Ministry has confirmed that 271 people were wounded following Iran’s large-scale ballistic missile attack that targeted several locations across central and southern Israel. Among the injured, four individuals are reported to be in serious condition.
The unprecedented assault saw waves of missiles launched from Iran overnight, triggering widespread alarms and sending civilians scrambling for shelter. The Israeli military intercepted many of the incoming projectiles, but several still managed to strike key areas, causing significant damage and panic.

Emergency responders were quickly deployed, with hospitals across the country placed on high alert to manage the influx of patients. Medical officials say the majority of the injuries were caused by shrapnel, debris, and blast waves. Others suffered trauma while seeking cover during the attack.

The missile strike marks one of the most intense escalations in the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel, with fears growing that the situation could spiral into a wider regional war.
