In the wake of a missile strike in Holon, a senior officer from Israel’s Home Front Command has praised residents for their swift and disciplined response to the emergency alert system.
Speaking from the site of the impact, the commander described the incident as “an extraordinary example of civilian preparedness,” emphasizing that the public’s adherence to shelter protocols directly prevented casualties.
“The citizens heard the warning, went down to the shelter, and that saved their lives,” the officer stated, highlighting the effectiveness of Israel’s early-warning infrastructure and the importance of public cooperation during attacks.

The missile, believed to be part of a recent barrage launched toward central Israel, caused damage in the area but did not result in any reported fatalities thanks to timely action by residents.
