The escalating conflict between Iran and Israel reached new heights on Wednesday as both nations exchanged fresh missile strikes in a dramatic continuation of their week-long air war.

Despite growing international concern and calls for de-escalation, including a direct appeal from U.S. President Donald Trump for Iran’s “unconditional surrender,” hostilities between the regional rivals show no signs of slowing.

According to the Israeli military, Iran launched two successive barrages of missiles toward Israeli territory during the early hours of Wednesday.

Multiple explosions were reportedly heard over Tel Aviv, signaling successful interceptions or impacts. There were no immediate reports of casualties, but the strikes underscored the growing reach and precision of Iran’s missile arsenal.

In retaliation, Israel issued evacuation warnings to residents in southwestern Tehran, ahead of targeted air raids on what it described as Iranian military installations.

Iranian media sources confirmed ongoing Israeli strikes, including attacks on a university with ties to Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards in eastern Iran, as well as renewed bombings at the Khojir ballistic missile facility near Tehran. That same site had previously come under Israeli fire in October last year, highlighting its continued strategic importance.

This latest exchange of fire marks the sixth consecutive day of direct confrontation between the two nations, with the conflict drawing increasing global attention. While some world powers have called for restraint, both Tehran and Jerusalem appear determined to press on with their respective military campaigns, further fueling fears of a broader regional conflict.
